Rachel was a beautiful friend that fought through childhood cancer. After years of remission, she fell victim to a final bout and passed on May 21, 2019. She was a spirited woman that put a lot of faith in her friends and fought for what she felt was fair. Rachel loved indie music, often getting involved in the local music scene. I took this photo at my home in July 2011 when we were early in our friendship. She came and went from my life in less than a decade but left a lasting impression.
